our class science experiment
hi my name is Alexis and welcome to my blog today I'm going to tell you how our class planted theyr own wheat seeds and how you can plant and look after your own wheat seeds.
ingredients/materials/equipment
1 bag of cotton wool
1 or 2 egg cartons
1 cup of h20
water dropper
wheat seeds
step 1 soak enough cotton wool to fit your egg carton don't pour the water
step 2 place the cotton wool in the egg carton
step 3 drop some wheat seeds onto your wet cotton wool with your hands but not to much
step 4 put some news paper down on a table it'll get a bit wet
this is how you plant your seeds here's how to look after them
step 1 water your seeds daily but not to much water else the seeds will die rot and effect the other seeds if they do do rot and die pick the seeds out
step 2 when your seeds start growing to about 10cm plant them in little pots or yogurt pots
step 3 continue to water them enough until they are damp
step 4 when they are about 30 - 40 cm move them to a garden
and that is how you plant and look after your own wheat seeds
